A Functional Family Space

It is often said that “less is more.” That idea could not ring truer than in this stunning kitchen update in a quite neighborhood of Dallas, TX. Using bright whites, stainless steel appliances and fixture, and a cool, modern color scheme, the Pipkin Homes team transformed this traditional kitchen into anything but.

Project Included

  • Kitchen Remodel
  • Wood Plank Tile Floor
  • Quartz Countertops
  • Shaker Style Cabinets
  • Stainless Steel Appliances
  • LED Cabinet Display Lights
  • Custom Pantry Door with Spice Rack
  • Fireplace Update

Scot and Amy reached out to Pipkin Homes because they liked what they had seen and heard from close friends. Their family of five had out grown their current kitchen, and they needed more open space with better functionality. Amy had vision and a good design eye so the planning phase had begun almost immediately.

The challenge was to optimize the space in their small kitchen. The old kitchen was difficult to maneuver around, and had very little pantry space. The Pipkin Homes team delivered a free flowing work space with seating to entertain family and guests, all while still increasing storage.

Stainless Steel

Aside from it’s stunning appearance, stainless steel has many advantages: it’s easy to clean, it doesn’t stain, it’s germ-resistant and it’s durable. It elevates any family kitchen to the chef-worthy kitchens we have grown accustomed to seeing on our favorite cooking shows.
